The mission of the Woodland Senior Center is to promote the physical, emotional, social and economic well being of older adults. The Woodland Senior Center offers programs that encourage healthy aging and provide socialization opportunities for older adults. The center has a thrift store and video library. Activities offered at the center include exercise, art, and dance classes, games, support groups, guest speakers, and special events.

Congregate Meals on Wheels Sacramento

Many Sacramento Senior Centers serve congregate meals such as breakfast and a hot nutritious lunch free or for a small donation. Senior Centers usually ask that meal reservations be made one day in advance. To reserve your congregate meal breakfast or lunch contact your local Senior Center. Senior Centers also serve as a base of operations for the popular Meals on Wheels program.
